Attended a local match yesterday, Livingston V Jed-Forest, they play in the Scottish RBS Championship Division B, Jed are the Division leaders, having only lost one match so far this season, and they ran out worthy winners 10 – 31.

Busy day today but managed to take in a Rugby match.
Livingston v Hawick YM, bit one sided, well certainly the first half, Livi ran out 25 – 0 winners.

Back to local rugby today, Livingston RFC V Haddington RFC, good win for Livi who have had a tough start to the season, a 23 – 17 win, sealed with a great drop goal near to the death.

Local rugby club today, very enjoyable game which after a great fight back from Livingston ended with a late drop goal and a one point margin of victory for Lasswade, final score 24 -25.

My local Rugby club was having a clean up this weekend, getting ready for the new season. It was a national thing with the Scottish Rugby Union through their sponsors RBS giving each of the clubs taking part a few pounds to help out.
These lads were actually doing Community service, so not exactly volunteers.

Not posted for a while, damn this need to work!! Anyway had another stroll along the River Almond today, here are some pics,
Todays meander found me wandering along the banks of the River Almond in Livingston, West Lothian, a peaceful spot and only a stones throw from the towns commercial centre.
Most of the pictures were taken from a couple of bridges that cross the river and connect the nearby houses to the shopping centre. You can see the bridges in some of the pics.

I don’t mind the spray paint so much, but why the shopping trolley, the nearest supermarket is at least half a mile away!

Went to a local Rugby match today, it was a semi final in a national competition, the National Shield.
Livingston ended up winners 27 -22, it was an enjoyable game, these lads might not have the skills of the the pro’s, but they give it as much effort, £3.00 entrance fee was cash well spent.

Had a wander about the town centre in Livingston, West Lothian, got a couple of decent shots, I think.
This is a statue outside the Livingston FC stadium.
Then I tried a bit of street photography, this lad was on a smoke break, obviously thinking “whats that weirdo up to”. I converted it into Black and White, but decided the original was better.
