Edinburgh Rugby v Munster 03/05/2014
Last home game of this season for Edinburgh, it didn’t go well!
We were on the wrong end of a 12 – 55 drubbing, praise the lord for alcohol, it numbed the pain somewhat!
Some pictures,

We were on the wrong end of a 12 – 55 drubbing, praise the lord for alcohol, it numbed the pain somewhat!
Some pictures,
It was the 2nd leg of the 1872 Cup yesterday, played between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Glasgow had won the first leg in Edinburgh and they ran out winners again yesterday. Sadly I have to admit it was a deserved victory and the 37 -34 scoreline somewhat flatters Edinburgh.
Anyway here are the pics,
Last weekend I went to two matches, Edinburgh v Cardiff Blues on the Friday and Lismore V Betuwe on the Saturday, the first being a pro match and the 2nd amateur, Betuwe are a Dutch team over in Scotland for a short tour, they attended the Edinburgh game the night before.
Some pics from both games,
Action from the RaboPro12 last night, Edinburgh v Ulster. Not the best game I’ve ever watched and I’m being kind.
Ended with a 9 – 3 win for Ulster,
Some pics,
Rugby tonight, Edinburgh v Swansea in the RaboPro12, not at Murrayfield, as the pitch is struggling with an infestation of mites!
So it was Meggetland, a small stadium in Edinburgh, but it made for a good atmosphere, the lads must of liked it, because Edinburgh ran out 31 – 25 winners.
An enjoyable game, tries a plenty:-)
Only downside, the light, the stadium floodlights are not a patch on the Murrayfield lights, but I tried and with some help from photoshop I got some ok images, see what you think,
European action at Murrayfield last night, an another great result for Edinburgh Rugby, beating french club USA Perpignan, 29 – 16.
It’s starting to become a decent season.
Some pics,
Today it was the inter city clash of the central belt teams, Glasgow ran out winners 16 – 20.
Got to be honest I am biased, but we was robbed, still there’s always next week.

Murrayfield last night for the RABOPRO12 league match between Edinburgh and Leinster.
Leinster went into the match as favourites, but there is a big change around Edinburgh these days, they don’t care about favourite tags, so in stormy conditions they went on to take the points with an 11 – 6 victory.
Things are on the up at Murrayfield and just in time for the two games against big rivals Glasgow Warriors, #cannaewait to slip into twitter speak.
Here’s the pics from last night,
Here is a link to the Scotsmans report and the pic I mentioned above, http://www.scotsman.com/sport/rugby/latest/edinburgh-11-6-leinster-edinburgh-brave-the-storm-1-3241179
It was the return leg of the Heineken cup fixture for Gloucester and Edinburgh, with Gloucester being the hosts at Kingsholm.
Well like last weeks game between these two the away team ran out winners, 10 – 16.
Great defensive display from Edinburgh, which puts them back in the hunt for a place in the knockout stages of the cup,
As it says in the title Edinburgh v Gloucester today, it was the third game in this seasons Heineken Cup for both sides, a game Edinburgh really needed to win, so you guessed it, we lost!!
Gloucester played well, but Embra made a load of silly errors!!
Anyway here are the pics,
