North Queensferry

Visited North Queensferry, which is on the Fife side of the Firth of Forth. I’ve taken photographs of the Forth Bridge from the Lothians side before, this was the first time from the Fife side.

This was the one I liked the most.

River Almond, Livingston, West Lothian

Todays meander found me wandering along the banks of the River Almond in  Livingston, West Lothian, a peaceful spot and only a stones throw from the towns commercial centre.

Most of the pictures were taken from a couple of bridges that cross the river and connect the nearby houses to the shopping centre. You can see the bridges in some of the pics.

I don't mind the spray paint so much, but why the shopping trolley, the nearest supermarket is at least half a mile away!

South Queensferry, again!!

Back at what appears to be my favourite photographic location today, hope you’re not bored seeing it.

There was a wedding shoot taking place, don’t think this pose will be in their album.

Boat Trip

Took a boat trip last Sunday on the River Forth, here’s some of the many, many images taken,

Evening Stroll

Had an evening stroll, took a few photographs, decided I don’t live in the worst place in the world,

Post Box & Bridges

Enhanced the colour and increased the saturation on this image of the Forth Bridges. Took the photograph last month.

Wandering we will go.

Made my way over into Fife today, which meant crossing the Forth,

on arrival in Fife I met one of the locals, he seemed friendly,

then it was onto a spot of gourmet dining,

so this is life in the fast lane!

Forth Bridge

Took a trip out to South Queensferry yesterday, took a few pictures of the bridges. The rail bridge is a fantastic structure.

A Note From Abroad
